Obverse description The obverse displays the elaborate combined coat of arms of the Chigi family and the Holy See in high relief, quartered and surmounted by the papal crossed keys and tiara. The shield is flanked by draped mantling and topped by a princely crown with a cross. The engraver's signature P. PESSINATI appears in the lower exergue.
