Reverse description Three Gothic arches frame three dramatic figures in relief: a standing woman holding a puppet at left, a seated male figure in period costume at centre, and a seated woman with a mallet at right. Below the arcade, a banner reads 'ROYAL DRAMATIC COLLEGE' flanked by the maker's name, with 'FOUNDED A.D. 1858' and a heraldic shield in the lower field. A circular legend quoting Shakespeare runs around the border.
