| Obverse description | Central field displays the heraldic shield of King William's College, quartered with a robed figure flanked by columns, crossed staffs with fleur-de-lis, and crossed keys, surmounted by a bishop's mitre with the founding date 1668 above. A ribbon scroll below the shield bears the motto ASSIDUITATE NON DESIDIA. The circular legend naming the college and Isle of Man runs around the border within a milled edge, the medal being struck in medal alignment and showing attractive iridescent toning. |
