Reverse description A large waving flag, identifiable as the North German Lloyd house flag, dominates the central field in high relief. Key voyage dates are inscribed in the field: departure from Bremen, arrival in Baltimore, and return to Bremen. The surrounding legend, separated by a beaded inner border, reads around the full circumference of the medal.
