Reverse description Two classically draped allegorical female figures seated on a large architectural plinth or urn; the left figure holds a globe or orb, while the right figure holds a set of scales aloft. Books and a cornucopia are incorporated into the composition around them. In the lower foreground, a putto reclines and reads from an open book, with a tennis racket and other objects scattered nearby. The date appears in the exergue.
