Reverse description The central field presents a raised replica of an ancient Acre coin minted under Emperor Elagabalus (217–222 C.E.), depicting colonnaded temple facades with figures in relief, set within a beaded border and recessed into a sunken circular well. The broad rim carries a bilingual inscription in Hebrew and English reading 'Coin of Acre' with the Hebrew date 3977–82 and the Gregorian date 217–222 C.E.
