(Translation: Fuad the first Farouk the first)
Reverse description Upper portion features a central ancient Egyptian heraldic emblem depicting a kneeling figure flanked by two vultures standing inward, surmounted by a cartouche-like device with sun discs and uraei, all in relief. Below, ten lines of Latin text record the successive names and dates of the Institut d'Égypte, followed by a dedicatory inscription attributed to Fouad I.
