Obverse description Bust of a robed and keffiyeh-wearing figure facing right, identified by the surrounding legend as King Abdulaziz, rendered in high relief with fine detailing of the headdress and facial features. The Saudi national emblem, consisting of two crossed swords beneath a palm tree, appears in relief on each side of the bust. The circular legend includes the airport name in Arabic above and in English below, flanked by the Gregorian year 1981 and the Hijri year 1401.
