Obverse description Full-length figure of Saint John the Evangelist seated on a throne in high relief, depicted as an elderly bearded man with a nimbus, raising his right hand in blessing and holding an ornate scroll in his left. An eagle, the traditional symbol of Saint John, stands at his feet to the left. The MV (MasterVision) mint mark and the silver fineness hallmark with weight inscription appear in the lower left field.

Reverse description Central design featuring an ornate Orthodox eight-pointed cross with interlaced knotwork decoration and elaborate acanthus-leaf scrollwork filling the field. The abbreviations ІС ХС (Jesus Christ) appear flanking the upper arms of the cross, and НИКА (Nika, meaning 'conquers') is inscribed below the crossbar. A cartouche at the bottom bears the biblical reference ИН. 20:31. A circular Cyrillic legend runs along the outer border.
