| Obverse description | Two muscular atlantes figures in high relief stand facing inward on either side of the composition, arms raised overhead as if supporting a structure, set against a stone-block wall background. Between them, in lower relief, is a detailed architectural rendering of a multi-storey classical building with statues on its roofline, representing one of the Hermitage complex structures. The overall composition evokes the famous atlantes sculptures of the New Hermitage portico in Saint Petersburg. |
