Obverse description Front-facing bust of Alexander Pushkin in high relief against a mirror-polished field, with his characteristic curly hair rendered in fine detail. The birth and death dates 1799 and 1837 appear to the left of the effigy, and a quill pen with a facsimile signature of A. Pushkin is depicted in the lower right. The legend АЛЕКСАНДР ПУШКИН arcs along the upper rim.
