Reverse description Allegorical scene in high relief depicting Britannia seated to the right, wearing a diadem and holding a trident upright in her right hand and a laurel wreath in her left, facing a kneeling female figure representing the Colony, who presents a cornucopia adorned with livestock and produce. A sailing ship appears to the left, and the façade of the 1862 International Exhibition building in South Kensington occupies the background. The legend HINC LAUDEM FORTES SPERATE COLONI arcs around the upper field, with W. KULLRICH INV. ET FECIT BEROLINI inscribed in the lower exergue.
