Obverse description Conjoined busts of Kaiser Wilhelm II and Emperor Franz Joseph I facing left in high relief, set within a laurel wreath border on a radiate background. The legends naming both rulers arc around the central medallion, and an Iron Cross in relief appears at each of the four corners of the square klippe field.

Reverse description A group of charging infantrymen advancing to the right with fixed bayonets and a standard, depicted in bold relief within a central circular field. The exergue bears the inscription FELDZUG / 1914 - 1915 in raised lettering, with the maker's mark M.& W. ST. below. The four corners of the klippe are decorated with ornamental scrollwork in relief.
