Reverse description The coat of arms of the City of Brantford displayed in the center of a circular relief, supported by two standing figures — a Native warrior to the left and a soldier to the right — with a maple leaf above the shield and a beaver on the shield itself. The motto INDUSTRIA ET PERSEVERANTIA appears above the supporters. The dates 1877–1937 appear at the top and 1867–1937 at the bottom of the central circle, with the surrounding border carrying the commemorative legend and maple leaf ornaments in the corner angles.
