| Obverse description | Conjoined crowned busts of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in high relief, facing left, with the King in the foreground wearing ermine-trimmed robes and an imperial crown, and the Queen behind wearing a smaller crown and pearl necklace. The circumferential legend reads around the border, with the date '12 MAY 1937' inscribed in the field to the right of the King's shoulder. A suspension hole is visible at the top of the medal. |
