| Obverse description | Conjoined busts of King George VI and Queen Elizabeth in left-facing profile relief, both wearing crowns, within a raised inner circle. The circumferential legend reads around the outer border, with the date 12 MAY 1937 visible in the field to the right of the effigies. A suspension hole is pierced at the top of the medal. |
