Obverse description Conjoined busts of a crowned king and queen in right profile, rendered in high relief, the king wearing an imperial crown and ermine-trimmed robes, the queen depicted behind wearing a pearl necklace and tiara. A circular legend surrounds the effigies along the rim. A suspension hole is pierced at the top of the medal.

Reverse description The reverse field is entirely occupied by a multi-line dedicatory inscription in bold raised lettering, framed above and below by small decorative scroll ornaments. A suspension hole is pierced at the top.
