Obverse description Conjoined busts of King George V and Queen Mary facing left, both crowned and wearing Coronation robes, in high relief. The name GEORGE V appears to the left and MARY to the right, with the regnal dates 1910 and 1935 flanking the effigies in the field. The designer's mark E. Cr. P. (Edward Carter Preston) is visible in the lower field.
