Reverse description A winged allegorical figure of Peace stands facing, raising a dove with an olive sprig in her right hand and holding an olive spray in her left. She is framed by a laurel wreath, with the inscription WELCOME reading vertically to her left and PEACE to her right. At her right foot lies an anchor with a ribbon inscribed 1914, and at her left foot a broken sword with a ribbon inscribed 1919. The maker's name SPINK & SON, LONDON appears in the lower exergue, with the initials R.J.R. in the lower right field.
