Reverse description The coat of arms of Natal occupies the centre of the field, featuring a quartered shield supported by two wildebeest, surmounted by a lion passant, with a rising sun below and a motto ribbon reading SINUNITATE VIRES. The name NATAL appears in the lower field beneath the arms. A circular English legend around the border reads SOUVENIR OF THE CORONATION·JUNE 22ND·1911, and the engraver's name appears at the bottom below a small decorative flower ornament.
