Reverse description A classically draped female figure, representing Fame or a muse, stands in high relief leaning against a truncated column, holding a quill in her lowered right hand. A ribbon around the column bears the inscription TO GREAT MEN, and a rectangular tablet at the base reads PUB'D BY S PARKER LONDON. The engravers' names I. STOTHARD R.A.D. and A.J. STOTHARD E. appear along the lower border, flanking the date MDCCCXXVII.
