Reverse description A uniformed soldier stands to the right of a draped funerary plinth surmounted by a funerary urn, flanked by two crossed military standards with tasselled drapery. The plinth bears the inscription DIED ANUARY 5 1827 and AE 63 in the field. A circular commemorative legend runs around the border.
