Obverse description Mars, helmeted and partially armoured, advances holding a sword in his right hand while Peace, draped in classical robes and holding an olive branch, restrains him with her outstretched hand. The legend arcs around the border, and in the exergue the date MAY 30TH 1814 appears above the engraver's signature T. WYON JU. MDCCCXI, with DES. and FEC. flanking the design.

Reverse description Six heraldic shields arranged around a central oval cartouche, framed by intertwining laurel and olive branches. The shields bear the arms of the principal signatory powers of the Treaty of Paris, with the British royal arms at the top and the French fleurs-de-lis at the bottom. The central field bears the biblical inscription in six lines.
