Reverse description An allegorical scene in high relief depicting two winged figures of Peace and Victory flying left, one bearing an olive branch and the other a laurel wreath, crowning a helmeted Britannia who stands shield in hand protecting a kneeling figure of Commerce and a smaller figure of Europe at her side; the prostrate figure of Discord lies vanquished at their feet on a ground line. The engraver's signature T. WYON JUN. SC. appears in the exergue, beneath which a Tudor rose ornament is struck in the lower field. The circular legend runs around the upper periphery.
