Obverse description A draped allegorical female figure, representing Religion, seated to the right leaning against a tall Latin cross, with a rose, shamrock, and thistle in the left field. To her right, a stone plinth bears the names of Peninsular War battles in relief. In the exergue, the legend THANKSGIVING / JAN. 13. 1814.
