Obverse lettering THE R.T. HONBLE SPENCER PERCEVAL CHANCELLOR OF THE EXCHEQUER &c.
Reverse description Britannia, helmeted and in classical dress, stands mourning atop a sarcophagus-style tomb, her head bowed and one hand raised to her face in grief while resting on a spear, her shield beside her. To her right stands a broken fluted column entwined with a laurel branch, and a ribbon inscribed 'BELLINGHAM' trails from the column base. The face of the tomb bears a relief scene depicting figures in procession. Maker's marks 'K & S' and 'W.T.F.' appear on the base of the tomb. The legend arcs around the upper field, with the date and cause of death inscribed in the lower exergue.
