Reverse description Britannia seated left beside her shield and spear, holding a medallion bearing a portrait effigy, with a putto standing at right pointing to an upright tablet inscribed with the names of the plenipotentiaries responsible for the Treaty of Amiens. A rising sun appears at lower right, and sheaves of wheat and fruiting branches symbolise peace and prosperity. The Latin motto POST NUBILA PHOEBUS arcs across the upper field, while the exergue bears the legend DEFINITIVE TREATY CONCLUDED 1802.
