| Opis awersu | Central field depicts an obelisk surmounted by a naval crown, with an oval medallion in relief bearing the left-facing bust of Lord Nelson set within a laurel wreath. At the base of the obelisk are military trophies including cannons and cannonballs, flanked by flags and weapons; a grieving seaman leans weeping against the left side of the plinth. The inscription is engraved on the face of the plinth, with TRAFALGAR in the exergue, and the engraver's signature P.W.F. appears at lower left. |
