Reverse description Detailed scene depicting the Siege of Derry: a fortified city gate with two flanking towers, a British Union flag flying from a flagpole above the central tower, and an armorial shield on the gatehouse. In the foreground, soldiers engage in combat with a cannon at left, while relief ships under full sail are visible on the water in the middle ground. The inscription 'NO SURRENDER' arcs across the upper field, and a rectangular exergue at the base contains the club name and founding date. The engraver's signature 'Mossop' appears at lower right.
