Obverse description High-relief draped bust of George Walker three-quarters to the left, wearing a long curled wig and clerical bands, occupying most of the field. The circular legend reads around the periphery, and the engraver's signature 'Mossop' appears at the base of the truncation. The medal has a suspension loop at the top and a milled border.

Reverse description Detailed scene depicting the Siege of Derry: a fortified city gate with two flanking towers, a British Union flag flying from a flagpole above the central tower, and an armorial shield on the gatehouse. In the foreground, soldiers engage in combat with a cannon at left, while relief ships under full sail are visible on the water in the middle ground. The inscription 'NO SURRENDER' arcs across the upper field, and a rectangular exergue at the base contains the club name and founding date. The engraver's signature 'Mossop' appears at lower right.
