Obverse description Laureate bust of George II facing left, with long curled hair, wearing armour and draped mantle, in high relief. The engraver's signature J. DASSIER F. appears in the lower field. A circular legend surrounds the effigy within a raised rim.

Reverse description The reverse bears an entirely epigraphic design with a multi-line Latin dedicatory inscription filling the field, identifying this as part of Dassier's series of medals of the Kings of England, dedicated to George II and signed by Jean Dassier as engraver of coins to the Republic of Geneva. A small decorative sprig motif appears at the base of the inscription.
