Reverse description An elaborate Baroque cartouche with acanthus scrollwork flanking the sides, a floral festoon suspended from the top, and a fruit-laden pedestal vase at the base. Within the cartouche, three lines of Latin inscription record Barnard's title as Alderman of the City of London with the date in Roman numerals.
