| Obverse description | Facing busts in high relief of Friedrich Wilhelm, Crown Prince of Prussia (left, facing right) and Victoria, Princess Royal of Great Britain (right, facing left), each set within an ornate laurel frame, united by a radiant winged angel with outstretched arms above. Below the busts, a central cartouche displays the combined heraldic arms of Prussia and Great Britain flanked by scrollwork. Signed 'G. LOOS DIR.' at lower left and 'W. KULLRICH FEC.' at lower right. The circumferential legend reads 'D. XXV JANUARII MDCCCLVIII' above and the identifying titles of both principals around the frames. |
