Reverse description A crowned eagle in high relief soars beneath a radiant sun at the top of the field, bearing a sword and a shield. Below, two eagles are depicted in combat with wings spread. The lower portion of the field shows a burning landscape with the river Vistula dividing the scene, commemorating the Battle of Warsaw. The Latin legend is inscribed around the circumference within the raised rim.
