Reverse description A tall pyramid bearing an ornate crowned shield with the royal cypher of Frederik IV and a trophy of flags and standards occupies the center of the field; atop the pyramid, the radiant Eye of Providence emerges from billowing clouds. To the right, an arm issuing from clouds hurls lightning bolts over a heap of Swedish arms, flags, and trophies scattered on the ground. To the left, the city of Altona is shown engulfed in flames and smoke. A five-line exergual inscription is enclosed within an inner circle, while the circular Latin legend runs along the outer rim, reading in reverse at the base.
