Reverse description Within a beaded circle, an inscribed obelisk dedicated to Frederik III stands in a landscape with a lion couchant at its base and a radiant setting sun behind it. The circular legend around the inner border records the king's titles, while dates of birth, coronation, death, and length of reign are inscribed in the four corners of the klippe flan. The obelisk face bears the inscription ANIMAE AETERNAE FRIDER III OPTIM. PRINCIP.
