Obverse description Facing right bust of King Fahd Bin Abdulaziz Al-Saud wearing traditional Saudi headdress (keffiyeh and agal), rendered in high relief against a mirror-polished field. The surrounding legend arcs along the upper portion of the rim, with the engraver's signature RENKA visible in the lower right field.

Reverse description The reverse features a bimetallic-style design with a recessed central disc containing a Quranic verse in Arabic script and its English translation arranged around the field. An outer annular band carries the king's name and title in Arabic script. The issuer inscription FAO-ROME appears at the bottom of the outer band, flanked by decorative elements, with the fineness mark Ag999 struck in the exergue.
