Popis líce	The obverse features a polychrome enamel central field depicting a standing female figure in high relief, interpreted as Ériu, the personification of Ireland, surrounded by a pastoral landscape with deer and a halo of light above her head. The figure is entwined with serpentine forms, evoking mythological imagery. The border is ornately decorated with interlaced Celtic knotwork and triskelion motifs in the field.
