Obverse description Right-facing crowned bust of the young Queen Elizabeth II in high relief, wearing a tudor crown and robes. The legend ELIZABETH SECUNDA arcs around the upper field, with the coronation date 2.6. 1953 displayed across the lower field flanking the truncation. Small engraver's initials appear below the bust truncation.
