Reverse description The central field depicts the moment of crowning in high relief: the Archbishop of Canterbury places St. Edward's Crown upon the kneeling Queen, who holds the orb and sceptre, flanked by a robed ecclesiastical figure to the right. The circumferential legend bearing the coronation blessing runs around the upper portion of the field, with quotation marks at each end. The engraver's signature appears in the lower exergue.
