Obverse description Conjoined busts of Edward VII, crowned, to the right, and Queen Alexandra, also crowned, to the left, with a spread-winged dove in high relief between them at centre top. In the lower field, the Coronation Chair with the Stone of Destiny is depicted centrally, flanked by a palm branch with a 'VICTORY' scroll to the left and an olive branch with a 'PEACE' scroll to the right. The legend curves along both sides identifying the monarchs, with an inscription in the exergue referencing the Coronation Chair and Stone of Scone dated 1297.

Reverse description The arms of the City of Perth depicted centrally in high relief, featuring a double-headed eagle displayed with a shield on its breast, surmounted by a royal crown, with a smaller eagle passant below and a further shield at base. The armorial device is enclosed within a wreath of oak and thistle branches. The circular legend around the rim names the medal and records the date, with a small inscription at the base of the field crediting the designer.
