Obverse description Conjoined busts of King Edward VII and Queen Alexandra in right-facing profile, Edward in military uniform to the fore and Alexandra wearing a crown behind. A radiant crown appears above the busts at the top of the field, and a laurel branch decorates the lower field. The legend curves along the left and right rims.

Reverse description The Royal Arms displayed centrally above a coastal scene featuring a lighthouse to the left and a sailing vessel to the right. The shield is surrounded by the Garter motto and the motto ET MON DROIT on a ribbon below. In the lower half, a decorative scrolled banner bears the word CORONATION, flanked by oak and shamrock sprigs, with the inscriptions KING & EMPEROR, JUNE 26TH, and the date 1902 in a cartouche at the base.
