Obverse description Bare-headed bust of Edward Albert, Prince of Wales, in high relief facing right, occupying most of the field. The engraver's signature J.M. LUBARY appears incuse below the truncation. The legend EDWARD ALBERT and PRINCE OF WALES is inscribed in the field to the left and right of the effigy respectively.

Reverse description The crowned Royal Arms of the United Kingdom and the Arms of Argentina are displayed side by side in the centre of the field, joined at their bases and flanked by a wreath of laurel and oak. The Argentine arms feature the rising sun and a hand holding a pike with a Phrygian cap. The circular legend reads VISITA A LA REPUBLICA ARGENTINA above and AGOSTO 1925 below, separated by bullet stops.
