Reverse description The reverse depicts the emblem of Congregation Shearith Israel, comprising three ornate pillars representing Justice, Righteousness, and Truth, with Hebrew inscriptions on each pillar and a circular medallion between them bearing the legend "העולם עומד על". A Hebrew inscription arcs along the upper rim, and the founding dates "1654 5414" appear in the exergue below the pillars. The English legend "THE CONGREGATION SHEARITH ISRAEL IN THE CITY OF NEW YORK" curves along the lower rim.
