Reverse description Two veiled allegorical female figures representing Denmark and Norway kneel in mourning on either side of a sarcophagus, each resting against her respective heraldic shield. Two funerary urns with inscriptions stand atop the tomb, whose front panel bears the legend DUO MORIUNTUR IN UNA. The legend ANTE DIEM arcs across the upper field, and a three-line commemorative inscription in the exergue records the date of the queen's death.
