| Obverse description | Full-length frontal effigy of Saint King Ladislaus (Szent László) standing erect in royal robes, holding a sceptre or axe in his right hand and an orb or shield in his left, rendered in medieval Gothic style. A beaded inner circle frames the central figure, with the legend distributed around the periphery in uncial characters. The design is modelled after the medieval Hungarian denar coinage associated with Saint Ladislaus. |

| Reverse description | Enthroned Madonna, veiled and robed, depicted facing forward and holding the infant Jesus in her right arm in the Patrona Hungariae tradition. Below the seated figure, a Hunyadi raven (crow) is shown holding a ring in its beak, the heraldic device of the Hunyadi dynasty. The legend in uncial script encircles the design, referencing King Matthias Corvinus by his royal title and divine grace. |
