Obverse description The obverse features a large bold numeral '70' dominating the left field, with a circular inset device at right depicting a sailing ship on stormy seas, accompanied by a Hebrew biblical quotation above and the Hebrew dates 5705–5706 in the exergue. The surrounding legend reads 'CLANDESTINE IMMIGRATION 70th ANNIVERSARY' in Latin script along the upper rim, and '70 שנה להעפלה' in Hebrew script along the lower rim, flanked by a Star of David.

Reverse description The reverse presents a circular inset device in the upper field depicting the Arch of Titus alongside the Tower of David, framed by a stone arch, with the Latin legend 'IVDAEA RESTITVTA' along the upper rim of the inset. Below the inset, the Roman numerals 'MCMXLV / MCMXLVI' appear flanked by Stars of David.
