A lion reclines on the steps before the throne, and a tablet inscribed DEO ET POPULO is visible on the throne's front. The circular legend above reads VT FVLGENT VT IVNCTA BEANT, while the exergual inscription in three lines records the solemn unction at Frederiksborg on 6 June 1731. |
