Reverse description Detailed coronation scene depicting Charles X kneeling in fleur-de-lis embroidered robes before the Archbishop of Reims, who anoints him with holy oil while holding a crozier; numerous peers, dignitaries, and courtiers stand as witnesses on both sides. The upper legend curves around the scene, and a multi-line Latin inscription in the lower exergue records the date and occasion of the ceremony at Reims on 29 May 1825.
