Reverse description A nimbate double-headed eagle displayed, with wings spread wide, dominates the field; upon its breast is a large quartered coat-of-arms encircled by the Collar of the Order of the Golden Fleece, surmounted by an imperial crown. On either side of the shield, the Pillars of Hercules rise from rocky ground, each bearing a banner with the motto PLVS OVLTRE; the legend H R appears in the lower field.
